About the Event
In this hour, we will answer your questions and read our book, If I Can't Eat Flies, What Am I?
Book Description:
Can you imagine a frog that is allergic to flies? Tad can't either. Since he believes he has to eat flies to be a frog, he goes on a journey to find out where he may fit in. Things don’t go quite as planned, but he learns some important safety rules and even more valuable life lessons. In the end, he realizes that he is not defined by what he can or cannot eat.
Tad hopes that sharing his story will help other kids feel better about their food allergies, and also help kids who do not have allergies empathize a little bit more with their friends who do.
Whether you live with food allergies, have a friend or loved one who does, or are just wondering why certain foods are not allowed in classrooms, this fun and lighthearted story is for you!
We will send out the Zoom link for this meeting 3 days before the event. Please do not share the link, instead, invite your friends to register. This will be live-streamed on Facebook, but will NOT be posted afterwards.
